Rajendhra Bhalaji Proves Milk Powder Adulterated By Two MNCs Tamil Nadu Dairy Development Minister KT Rajendhra Bhalaji on Tuesday said milk powder supplied by Reliance and Nestle contains chemicals like Bleaching powder and caustic soda that causes several diseases including cancer. He added this adulterated products could cause problems like ulcers, diabetes and problems in hearts, liver and kidneys. He told to press that he will consult the Chief Minister and Health Minister to ban the products. Earlier the samples were tested in Aavin laboratory in the state. Later the minister sent it to the Pune lab which refused to test and it was tested indirectly in Central government certified lab at Chennai. The test reports about Nestle and Reliance milk powder were released by him. He also added Aavin milk powder, milk and curd are pure and tested in central government certified lab via private media. He said he is publishing it because people has to get awareness. It is better to avoid milk products for the safety says the people. China Land Slide 100 people buried

China Land Slide 100 people buried Due to some parts of mountain collapsed in Maoxian County in Ngawa Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China 40 homes were destroyed and it is reported at least 100 people buried in the incident. Rescue team had rushed to the spot and they are under way to rescue and locate the missing people. A part of the mountain had blocked two kilometre stretch of river in the area. The incident took place at 6 am at local time when it there is heavy rain. Meantime China had stopped group of pilgrimage headed to Manasarovar. They were stranded in Indian border and denied permission to enter China. The officials say there is possible landslide on the Chinese side and may be allowed once it is rectified. Pilgrimages say they were not given proper reason to make them stranded. Thousand of tourist and pilgrimages are taking part in Manasarovar Yatra every year. To be noted around 80 percent of the total yatras will be from India. The external ministry said the issue is being discussed with China. NASA Launches World Lightest Satellite Designed by TN Student Indian student born in Tamil Nadu had created history when NASA launches his lightest satellite on Thursday. This world’s smallest light weight satellite is created by team of 7 members headed by 18 year old student Rifath Sharook. It is named as Kalam Sat after the former President and scientist Abdul Kamal. It is 3D printed and Carbon fiber polymer satellite; the first time 3D printed technology is used in the space and it s weighs 64 grams. With launch of this satellite India had proved again it is superior in science and technology. Global space record was created. Dr. Srimathy Kesan, founder and CEO of Space Kids India had supervised the project. Part of the components were supplied from India and other parts from abroad. Mean time India’s PSLV C-38 rocket had launched today which carries 31 satellites including Cartosat-2 and 30 Nano Satellites. NASA Found 10 New Earth Sized Planets NASA had earlier discovered 219 new planet candidates using Kepler space telescope. Out of these, 10 planets of which are near Earth sized and are orbiting in their star’s habitable zone. As per the NASA’s report planets with roughly the same size and orbit as Earth. Using 4 years of Kepler observations, the final planet candidate catalogue contains the best characterised data yet. Kepler had also identified more than 4000 planet candidates and 2300 confirmed planets orbiting other stars. Future studies could reveal a vast range of planet and help enable the search for life. The data also provided a new way to find whether a planet has rocky surface like earth or it is filled with gas like Neptune.
