A Dalit Couple Killed for Debt Rs 15
A grocery shop owner killed Dalit couple for Rs. 15 debt on buying biscuit packet for their 3 children. A couple was allegedly hacked to death with an axe by the shopkeeper in the village Mainpur at Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.
He has been arrested the accused by the police and investigated. In the report the shopkeeper Ashok Mishra stopped couple who is going for work and asked for his money at earlier morning at 6 am.
The couple reportedly expressed their inability to pay and asked some more time begging at him. Mishra kept shouted against them. When couple walked on their way he went to his house picked up the axe and brutally hacked them. He hacked multiple times against the couple. They died on the spot.
The couple Bharat Singh and Mamta belongs to dalit 'Nat' community whereas shopkeeper is an upper caste man. Police ceased the blood strained axe from his house.
It is said couple has 5 children two of their daughters are married while 3 sons are minors. Many incidents are happening against the Dalits in the country. The police booked Mishra under section 302 of IPC and they plans to impose National Security Alert in the village.
Recently a man was killed marrying upper caste women in Tamil Nadu. The woman was also brutally attacked. She had survived while his husband was killed by her own father. Later her father admitted to the police for killing his son-in-law. Earlier a man was killed for having friendship with the upper cast girl in the same state.
