Cancer Patient Scores 95 percent in ICSE Exam

The 16 years old teen age boy Raghav Chandak scores 95.8 percent in ICSE examination. He had the burning desire to score high in the exam after he was diagnosed with cancer last year April.

After the diagnosing with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) he was able to attend the school only about two months. His cousin who is studying in the same class helped him in giving notes.

His parent was stunned when heard about cancer to him but the boy did not give up fighting. He wants to learn though he was hospitalized more than one and half months for treatment. He carried books and notes to the hospital and managed to study. After the discharge he should be hospitalized 7 days in every month for chemotherapy.

The school gave its huge support. He was allowed to attend the class whenever possible. He was given separate bench to take care of his studies. His teachers, friends and everyone around supported him. Teachers gave him full support to call them directly whenever he needs help. Though his immune system had weekend he had never gave up his fighting spirit his parent said.

His parents thought he would not able to attend the exams. Further they informed to management about this. The school informed they will take care of his education.

The boy said I would not have done this without school, teachers, friends and parent supports. His aim is to enter IIT after his schooling.

He is present role model for the students with week heart. His braveness and fighting spirit sends message to every student who loses their hopes. When one fails in something there is always another way for success when we work hard with hope. Not only for students he gives hope for every people who is affected by deadly diseases.
