Our Former President and also the Scientist A.P.J. Abdul Kalam who turned 84 was passed away on 27th July 2015 at Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya.
On 27th July when he was giving the speech to IIM students at Shillong the stage was collapsed when he went to unconscious with the heart attack.
He was carried to Bethany Hospital immediately. Doctors also rushed from army hospital and North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences and treated Kalam in no use. His soul rested in peace at 7.45 pm at Bethany hospital. Meghalaya Governor rushed to hospital to visit Kalam on hearing the illness of Kalam and later informed about his death.

He delivered his last speech in IIM, Shillong on the topic 'Make livable planet Earth'.
A.P.J Abdul Kalam was 11th president of India in 2002 to 2007. He has got many Awards including Padma Bhushan in 1981, Padma Vibhushan in 1990 and Bharat Ratna Award in 1997 which is the highest civilian Award in India.
Kalam woke up the students’ heart and gave them lots of inspirational speech that made student to boost up their aim and achievements. He always had been a vibrant speaker who gave the energy tonic to the youth and for the school children.
He loved addressing the children. After being the president he was always active in delivering the speech to all the schools and colleges where he was invited. He did the one what he loved till the last moment of his life.
He was headed the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) for many years and launched many missiles and space craft. He was also been the scientific advisor for the Defense ministry.
He has written many inspirational books for the students and public. He was also written scientific books. He had quoted in tweeter before living to Shillong.
Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted 'the country mourns the lose of great scientist, a wonderful President, & above all the inspiring individual' and also says our country has lost the person who always works for the development of the nation and inspired the youth, 'No one can fill the gap'.
