French Soldiers Parade in Republic Day Celebration
President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with our chief guest French Preisdent Francois Hollande is witnessing Parade that taking place in Rajpath at our capital city. Thousands of people gathered there to watch the beautiful parade.
First time in the history, French soldiers are making parade in our country on this day. It is a historic event for the first time foreign soldier participated in the parade and marching with our Indian troop. They were on one week rehearsal for the parade.
Earlier on July 2009, Indian troop was participated in France at similar occasion. One of our oldest regiments ‘Maratha light Infantry’ of the Indian Army marched along with French soldiers on that day in France.
France President Hollande is the chief guest of India today for Republic Day celebration. To boost up the Indo-French ties and to sign up new agreements he had came India as two day trip.
Last year Prime Minister Narendra Modi made two visits to France. On April, he made 3 day visit to France and again in November for UN climate change summit.
As the Republic Day celebration, high colorful performances was done by the Air Force. Three Sukhoi flew above Rajpath in Trishul formation, in the globe formation Super Hercules flew and also 5 Jaguar fights flew as Arrow head formation above the Rajpath.
President Pranab Mukherjee unfurls our tricolor flag. At Amar Jawan Jyoti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar paid homage to the immortal jawans.
Republic Day celebrations were conducted in many parts of our country including Kashmir. At Kashmir military personnel were deployed for the security in various parts of the state. The celebration was started by unfurling the tricolor flag and followed by cultural programs and speech about our constitution, jawans and leaders. It went down in peaceful manner in all parts of the country.
