Heavy Rain Forecast For Southern Tamil Nadu Over Next Five Days

Regional Meteorological Centre at Chennai has made a heavy rain forecast over next five days in the south and interior districts of Tamil Nadu.

According to the recent weather reports from the meteorological centre, Low-pressure area is found around the south-west of Bay of Bengal and Maldives regions. Due to this, a moderate rainfall is expected in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu and the sky will be cloudy in Chennai.

On April 7, Northern districts of Tamil Nadu shall experience dry weather while moderate rainfall could be seen in Southern districts of Tamil Nadu.

On April 8, rainfall will intensify heavily with thunder and high-speed storms in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

In the next three days, Moderate rainfall could be expected in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The sky will be cloudy in many parts of Tamil Nadu.

Maximum temperature would be 34 deg. C while the minimum at 27 deg. C in the next five days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

The protesters suspect that the rainfall could interrupt the ongoing protests against the Central Government in Southern districts of Tamil Nadu.
