Infosys Employee Killed in Nungambakkam RS in Day Time
A young lady working at the IT sector in popular Infosys was brutally murdered by a man at Nungambakkam Railway Station this morning. On Friday at 6:30 am incident took place when she was waiting for the train at platform 2.
According to the report, the victim named Swathi was a resident of South Gangai Amman Koil Street, Choolaimedu at Chennai. The shop people and railway workers say the man was nearing her and soon had argument between them. Meantime he took sharp weapon and assaulted her to death. There is no CCTV installed in that railway station. He escaped immediately after hacking her.
The people at some distance gone freezing with this incident. Before they recover the man flew from the spot and could not catch or identify him. Police came to the spot and registered the case. The sources say the man was wearing green shirt and black pant. Police are investigating about the man. There will be strong evidence if there has been CCTV installed and man has no way to escape says the source.
The victim left flooded with blood for more than 2 hours. She had several cuts in her face and neck. It is her usual routine to catch train in morning to her work place Mahindra Tech Park at Maraimala Nagar. At evening she will return with her company’s cab. It was her father Santhana Gopalakrishna (retired central government employee) dropped her in the Railway station just few minutes before this brutal incident.
The company conveyed their deepest condolences to the family members and assured to do all possible support to its demised employee's family. They said they will support and assist police in this case.
