Jayalalitha Requires Longer Stay And Rahul Gandhi Visit
Jayalalitha's detail report and treatment has been reported by Apollo hospital in 2 pages letter on Thursday. As stated in the earlier report, she is being treated with appropriate antibiotics, respiratory support and other allied clinical measures. It is being continued under observation of a panel of doctors consisting of Intensivists, Cardiologists, Respiratory Physicians, Infectious Disease Specialists and Diabetologists.
The expert team from AIIMS also examined her. Based on the detailed deliberations and clinical examinations the treatment given to the Chief Minister should be continues and she requires longer stay in hospital.
Dr. Richard John Beale, the international specialist and consultant also examined Chief Minister.
The 68-years-old Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha was admitted in hospital after she complained for fever and dehydration on September 22. Her discharge may take longer time than expected.
Yesterday on Oct 7 governor at Raj Bhavan conducted the meeting to hear how the state is functioning. The chief secretary briefed governor about the day to day functioning of the government.
The congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi had done the surprise visit to hospital by the special air craft. He said Jayalalitha will be all right soon. He said to the reporters that he wants to give his support and congress president's support to the CM. He arrived around 11:50 am to Chennai airport and took vehicle straight to the hospital. State congress chief Thirunavukarasu and AIADMK minister O Pannerselvam accompanied him at hospital.
