Jharna Joshi who Rescued 111 Child Labors was Attacked

The brave Gurajat girl lives in Ahmadabad who is a college student rescued 111 child labors last Friday.  She has been attacked by unknown persons on Sunday night. She suffered injuries in her forehead, legs and arms. She was admitted in the hospital and treated for her injuries.

The attackers halted her on the road and asked her whether she is Jharna Joshi who rescued the child labors. When she said yes she was attacked by the gang and severely wounded. She told to the local media about this incident.

Jharna came to know about the child labors when she visited her relative house in April. She undertook a risky secret operation. She joined the factory as an employee and noted the conditions for the children. They were forced to work in dangerous conditions and also for a long time. She gathered required evidence and approached the required department. As they failed to take action she directly wrote to the chief minister who promised to take action.

Last Friday all the required departments jointly raided the factory and rescued 111 child labors. But on Sunday she was assaulted by unknown persons.

Popular social activist Kailash Satyarthi shared this as the shame incident that happened for daughter of India which was happened to him 36 years ago. He said he is beside her and will do his best to protect her.

Kailash Satyarthi is an activist against child labor who worked for the children's right and protected nearly 83000 children across the world. He was awarded Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. He is a founder of Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation.
