Yogi Adityanath is a Hindu nationalist politician and he has been elected to LokSabha as a Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur constituency of Uttar Pradesh for five times and is now the current Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He shall be opening the country's longest elevated road today.

In order to reduce the heavy traffic in the route from Ghaziabad to New Delhi, the flyover was built stretching from Raj Nagar in Ghaziabad to UP Gate for about 10.3 km thus becoming India's largest elevated road and it is opened to public transportation from today. The benefits of this project would go to the people living around 40 km from Delhi.

Meanwhile, Former Chief Minister of UP, Akhilesh Yadav tweeted that the Hindon Elevated Road Project was the dream project of Samajwadi party's government in 2016. Local SP leaders also accused BJP for taking advantage over their flyover.

Responding to this, Yogi Adityanath declared that the project was started and implemented after BJP gaining power in the state in 2017 State Assembly Elections..
