Rama Raj reached Tamil Nadu with 144 for three days

Rama Rajya Ratha Yatra a chariot tour that headed by Ramdas Mission Universal society with a backup of Vishava Hindu Parishad (VHB) from Ayodhya for emphasizing the opinion of reconstructing the Ram Temple at Ayodhya and to rearming the Ram Raj. The yatra is scheduled to culminate at Rameshwaram within 39 days after its departure from Ayodhya.

The yatra flagged off from Ayodhya on February 13, by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath. The yatra now reached Tirunelveli of Tamil Nadu through Kottaivasal, a border village of Tamil Nadu situated between Tamil Nadu and Kerala. 

Many Tamil politicians and social activists of Tamil Nadu had previously exposed their condemnation against the Rath yatra entering Tamil Nadu. Politicians like Thirumavalavan of VCK, T Velmurugan of TVK, MNMK chief Jawahirulla and Many Left politicians and activists showed their strong opposition towards the Rath Yatra. 

Following these opposition speech scenarios, District Administrator of Tirunelveli district has implemented curfew across the district in order to prevent any minor violence that might possess a chance of turning into a serious communal clash. Reports from Tirunelveli district media source confirmed that the curfew has been extended for three days up to 23rd of March.Today on March 20 when the Ram Raj Ratha Yatra reached the Kottaivasal many social activists and politicians rolled up protesting against the Ratha Yatra. Following the protest, police have arrested 100 of the civilian protestors. Police have arrested Tirumavalavan, Jawahirulla and T.velmurugan in various places when they tried to reach the protest spot. 

DMK leaders Like M K Stalin and K Veeramani had already opposed the Ratha Yatra and now they had tweeted their strong condemnation against the arrest of leaders. Even though there are no big political fishes involved in commencing the Yatra, the yatra is considered to be promoted by VHB, RSS and many other Hindutva organizations.

Regarding the Yatra, K Veeramani, an important leader of DMK said the yatra that reached Tamil Nadu might be a great threat to the Secularism of Tamil Nadu and may create worst communal disturbance in the state.

Naam Tamilar Katchi, Periyarists parties and left parties of Tamil Nadu had stood up with stronger opposition against the Yatra.

Previously L K Advani headed a Rath Yatra in 1990 for stabilizing the opinion among the people for reconstruction Ram Temple at Ayodhya. Later within two years on 6th December of 1992 Babri Masjid had been demolished by some Hindutva organization. Consequently, the incident leads to the serious Hindu Muslime communal violence across India and the killing of numerous innocents civilians along with harassments and rapes.  

The recent situation of Tamil Nadu after the vandalization of Periyar Statue the state posses with an unstable condition of cold violence. It is feared that the Ratha Yatra could turn the cold into extremely hot.
