Padmanabhan, a youth from Tamilnadu, has achieved the best youth award for the Commonwealth Asian region for the 2019 Commonwealth.The Commonwealth Foundation has been awarded annually to the youth of the year 15-29 from Asian, Pacific, Caribbean, USA, Europe and Africa.

This is the award given to young people who have a significant change in society, working with sustainable development goals in poverty, gender equality, pure water, education, health and climate change in their respective countries. Padmanaban said,"There is no pain like the pain the hunger. This award means a lot to me and all my hundreds of volunteers who help with our mission of feed people, not landfills."

In this way, Padmanaban Gopalan, founder of the 'No Foot Waste' voluntary organization headquartered in Coimbatore, was awarded the Best Youth Award for the Asian Region yesterday (Wednesday) at the ceremony held at the Commonwealth Headquarters in London. His age is 25. Also, during the ceremony, Padmanaban was awarded with a certificate of award and 3,000 pounds.
