TN Government Announces 100 Percent Salary Hike To MLAs

Hiking salaries of MLAs to 100 percent is absolutely ridiculous to the Tamil Nadu government. Edapaddi Palanisamy government had announced the salary hike to MLAs of the state doubled the present amount.

Apparently, farmers are dying for the crop failure in the state due to drought condition. They staged protest again at Delhi for their loan wave, river links and others. People in Neduvasal and Kathiramangalam are struggling to save their livelihood due to oil and methane extraction projects.

The present government had increased MLA's salary from Rs. 55 thousand to Rs. 1 lakh 5 thousand from July 1st onwards. People claim the government had not taken any initiatives to solve any issues in the state. Instead Chief Minister is blaming people who are protesting for their basic needs and livelihood.

In no other organization the people will get this much of salary hike. People and media criticize Tamil Nadu government for various causes. They are showing anger in the social media pages. They say government is doing all kinds of activities opposite to people's welfare and earning lots of money as they know this is their final government formation. As per report Tamil Nadu economy, agriculture and industrial growth had decreased vastly.
