Nearly 25 CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) soldiers were martyred in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh by Naxalites ambush yesterday night. This was a well planned massacre carried out by around 300 naxals attacking soldiers who are almost 150. In the attack 24 of them were killed and about 7 soldiers were severely injured. The injured jawans were rushed to a hospital in Raipur in a critical condition.

Prime Minister Modi stated 'Attack on @crpfindia personnel in Chhattisgarh is cowardly & deplorable. We are monitoring the situation closely. We are proud of the valour of our @crpfindia personnel.
