Prime Minister Narendra Modi's life history has been taken as PM Narendra Modi in which Vivek Anand Oberoi has act the role of Narendra Modi. The Election Commission has ordered today to ban the release of this film.
The Election Commission has issued the ban of releasing the movie, in the context as the first phase of the Lok Sabha polls starting tomorrow. In a description of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's biography, Sandeep Singh is producing the film 'PM Narendra Modi' and Omangkumar has directed and Actor Vivek Oberoi plays the role of Narendra Modi in the film.
Opposition parties accused the film's premiere as some scenes made to influence the people in the election. The petition was filed in Mumbai, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh High Courts to ban the film. But the court refused to ban the film. They ordered the petitioners to approach the Election Commission. The film was adjourned for the last five days and was postponed to 11th.
In this case, a Congress party member said he has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking to ban the film. The Supreme Court hearing the petition can not accept such petitions. The petition was rejected by the Election Commission for proper relief. This morning, the Central Board of Censorship Board has been ordered by giving U certificate for this film. This is expected to be released on the 11th of December.
But in the order issued by the Election Commission today, till the election is completed, Narendra Modi has issued a ban on screening. In this regard, the Election Commission issued a statement saying, "Any political party at the polls, screening, publishing and releasing the history of any person associated with the political party will block the people and we are prohibiting the release of PM Narendra Modi. "
It was noteworthy that alike this case, Lakshmi NTR and Udaya Simha also received a ban to release in screens.
