SC Judgment In Sasikala Disproportionate Assets Case
Supreme Court judgment regarding V.K Sasikala's disproportionate assets case will be given at 10:30 am this morning. The bench of 2 justices PC Ghose and Amitava Roy are heading the case.
AIADMK chief Sasikala's action to become Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is being delayed. Today whole TN people are looking for the SC judgment regarding this case. It will be a turning point in Tamil Nadu politics and fortune of Tamil Nadu.
If the judgment is favour to Sasikala then her chance to become CM will be doubled. The adverse verdict pushes Sasikala to look for other nominee for the CM, it will disqualify her for becoming legislature. Caretaker CM O Pannerselvam will have advantage but has to prove his strength in assembly in a given time.
Meantime attorney general Mukul Rohatgi suggested to the governor Vidhyasagar Rao to summon a special session assembly poll test to determine Sasikala or Pannerselvam as the CM.
The case includes the name of Sasikala and her relatives Elavarasi, Sudhakaran and others. Last night Sasikala stayed in the Golden Bay resort near Mahaballipuram where other MLAs are being halted. She said to their party colleagues that she was positive and will set the government in Tamil Nadu.
Caretaker CM O Pannerselvam till now has the support of 12 members of parliaments and 7 legislators. Sasikala surely has the strength of more legislative members and the SC verdict will be a breaking point in Tamil Nadu politics. It is also a turning point to Sasikala's political career.
