India Made Historic Win against Sri Lanka after 22 Years

India won the third test series against Sri Lanka after 22 years by beating 117 runs. Winning Sri Lanka in its own land is a milestone in the Indian cricket history.

In the head of Virat kohli, India Cricket Team made an historic event by winning the third test series after 22 years against Sri Lanka.

India had set target for Sri Lanka 386 runs for win. On the 5th day Sri Lanka player Angelo Mathews and Kusal Perera jointly took 135 run and turning point occurred before tea break when Perera was out for 70 runs. Then India took the wickets quickly, last 4 wickets were taken in 19 runs and Sri Lanka lost the series.

Ravichandran Ashwin took up 21 wickets and starred in the series. He is the Man of the Series. Ashwin thanked the players for their brilliant catches which made him to take the wickets. This is Virat Kohli's first series to win as a captain.

India Cricket team director Ravi Shastri told India deserves to have party. India was depressed when it lose series in Galle on the head of Virat, now on his captain ship India had won the test series. Virat Kohli is praised by all who thrown the word against him in last series at Galle.

Virat Kohli praised all players who participated in the series and the players who didn't get opportunity to play. He also praised Pujara who grabbed the opportunity when he came after the some player injured. He also added we have to improve in many areas that we didn’t play well.
