Indian Junior Hockey Team Won World Cup
India won the junior hockey World Cup that took place in Dhyan Chand Statium at Lucknow. On Sunday India beat Belgium 2-1 to win the second world title after Germany. India had won title in 2001 and after long 15 years gap India took the title again. India is only nation after Germany to win the title more than once.
In 1997, India won silver medal by making runner up against Australia in finals. India had won first title in 2001 in Hobart, Australia.
The team gets lots of accolades and wishes from top leaders and sports lovers in the country. They have made India proud. Captain Harjeet Singh sleeping still with World cup is going viral on the net.
