Pranav Dhanawade, 15-year-old boy scored 1009 runs in an innings at the school tournament. Mumbai school boy hit 1009 runs not out set the new world record. On Monday, he created new record beating the early record of 628 runs scored by Arthur Collins in 1899.
HT Bhandhari Cup inter-school tournament was held at Mumbai School. On Tuesday he continued his batting and scored remarkable runs on that day. Pranav who belongs to KC Gandhi School continued to score 1009 runs, not out against Arya Gokul School.
Pranav father is an auto rickshaw driver who pushed him for training in cricket. His parents put him at the academy to get formal training in cricket though they earnings were poor. He had changed his bat one time during the match says his coach. He used to prefer always heavy weight bat.
He is trending on the social media pages. Popular cricketers are wishing him in their social blog pages. The iconic cricketer Sachin Tendulkar tweeted about his victory. He was the first cricketer to praise him.
He had scored 1009 runs in 323 balls in 395 minutes. He had hit 59 sixes and 129 fours during the match. He is first to score 1000+ runs in the cricket world says the report.
