PV Sindhu Enters Final to Face World No1 Carolina Marin

PV Sindhu beats Japan's Nazomi Okuhara in Semi Final and created history entering into Badminton Final of Rio Olympics. She had set another medal for India after Sakshi Malik won bronze in wrestling. Now Sindhu nailed another medal it may be either Gold or Silver. She is to face World No.1 shuttler Carolina Marin in the final.

'Go for Gold' Sindhu is the mantra from all Indians. Sindhu had given an extraordinary play against Nazomi and trashed her with her firing smashes. She won by 21-19, 21-10 against Nazomi Okuhara. She is the first Indian to enter into Badminton finals.

Sindhu had received Padma Shri Award on Mar 2015. She won bronze at sub-junior Asian Badminton championships on 2009, won silver at Iran Fair International Badminton Challenge 2010, she is first Indian female to win medal at World Championships in singles on 2013.
