Acid Attack Surviour Reshma Qureshi in New York Fashion Week

The brave young girl who is the survivor after the acid attack 2 years ago had now walked in a New York Fashion Week Show. She walked in a run way to promote a ban on the sale of corrosive substances used to injure thousands of women and children each year.

She wore long sleeve white gown with embroidered designs that was designed by Archana Kochhar. She is from Allahabad who survived with severe burns in her face and lost one of her eyes in the attack. This horrible attack was made by her brother-in-law and other 2 men.

It gives courage to the acid attack victims says Reshma Qureshi in an interview. This 19-year-old girl went two cat walks on the runway of New York Fashion Week on Thursday Sept 9, 2016. She does not want them to do anymore and she gave braveness to the acid survivors. She said we (acid survivors) did not do anything wrong and we have to move forward. She gave the rays of hope to the victims.

She also asked the people not to see them in a weak light. The audience have enjoyed her gracious walk during the show. She raised awareness to end acid attacks throughout the world. She steals the show with her brave walk.

This bold lady was attacked on 2014 by her brother-in-law who poured acid on her face and her sister's hand too. She underwent surgery on her face and first time when she saw her face she could not believe that it was her face. The family of the beautiful girl supported her and gave courage. They tried to make her understand that she should live.

'Real beauty does not come from your face and looks. If you believe in yourself, you will be beautiful,' says Reshma Qureshi.
