Forbes selects top Indians 30 under 30 Asia

Forbes Asia had selected 57 Indians under the 30 age among various fields. Sania Mirza, Virat kholi and Sania Nehwal are top among the Indians in the category of 'promising young leaders and game changers'.

The 300 top young leaders, entrepreneurs and game changers were selected among the 10 categories that include Enterainment & Sports, The Arts, Media, Marketing & Advertising, Retail and ECommerce, Finance & Venture Capital, Enterprise Tech, Consumer Tech, Social Entrepreneurs, Manufacturing & Energy, Healthcare & Science.

The Entertainment and sport category features Virat Kholi (27), Sania Mirza (29), Sania Nehwal (25), Arunima Sinha (27), Shraddha Kapoor (26), Aditi Mittal (28), Chaitanya Tamhane (29)

Arunima Sinha, first Indian and female amputee to climb Mt Everest in 2013. She became amputee when she was pushed from the train by the thieves. She was the former National level football and volleyball player.

Aditi Mittal is a comedian who does the standup comedy. She was listed out as the top 10 standup comedians by Times of India in 2011.

Chaitanya Tamhane, writer and producer of the National Award winning 'The Court' movie.

Under E-Commerce category Mehul Agrawal (cofounder of Cars24, fabFurnish), Geetansh Bamania (Founder of RentoMojo), CredR founders Sumit Chhazed, Nikhil Jain and Nittin Mittal, KanikaTekriwal (CEO of JetSetGo), Shivam Tripathi (cofounder &CEO CamboTicket) were selected.

Forbes said Sania Mirza was most successful female tennis player ever. She is currently at number one position in female doubles tennis partnering with Martina Hingis. Forbes describes Nehwal as the Indian Badminton queen. She is ranked no 1 in women’s singles player in the world. Prime Minister Modi called her 'Darling daughter of India'.
